Hi Aussie,
I played run and gun and 2/3 - and won against a better team that played 2/3 and push - he destroyed me rebounding and I fouled him big time (which was actually a big help) and hit a bunch of 3's - The game engine seems very accurate in terms of how it interprets what you want to do. Definitely a tactical victory - now I just have to wait for my training and all my 18 year old's to develop so I can avoid falling back down to V this year.

play motion if your guards and Small forwards are very good.

i totally disagree, push is not like look inside and run and gun combined. that would be princeton to some degree.

use push if your team is very balanced offensively and has good stamina.

run and gun is great if you 2 gaurds are great outside shooters, does help a bit to have an sf who is too. ( team needs good range as well as jumpshot)

motion is good with good gaurds an a great sf. (less range is needed ) your team will be more inclined to take 2 pt jumpers then in run and gun. but will take a good amount of threes.

"I'd recommend push because when you do run and gun often, stamina drops :/."

i didnt know run n gun makes stamina drop faster.

Heh, just from my experience last season, I'd do run and gun or push. I'd recommend push because when you do run and gun often, stamina drops :/. But push, is like Look Inside and Run and Gun together. Because you shoot inside, and outside.

COMPLETELY WRONG!! Run 'n Gun has absolutely no effect on making your players stamina drop. Players Stamina always goes down a very little amount every week, it has nothing to do with what tactics you play.

I think both makes stamina drop a bit faster if you use it often, but I'm sure run and gun makes stamina drop. my 26 year old SG stamina dropped after 3 games in a row of run and gun (i was new at the time). Yeah but I think Base Offense is the normal speed, and Patient slows down stamina loss.

Like i said before, every players stamina drops a very little amount every week and your player just happened to have a very low "sub-level" for his stamina skill so it dropped.

i tend to not listen to shaq's advice as 9/10 times its incorrect, he seems to relate it to real life basketball more then he does this actual game.

shaq if i was you i would sit back and learn for a season or 2 then give advice .
your confusing alot of new managers who dont need to be anymore confused.
