I don't think this is really a spoiler, I checked last week if a friend of mine's cup was gone during the end of a close game, and it was. But then I checked his opponent's cup, and that was gone too. In the end my friend won the game. So to me there doesn't seem to be a strong coorelation between cup being missing, and you losing your cup game.

it seems like cups disappear for both teams but only when the game is simulated, so they disappear at different times
i don't think there's a bug

I doubt this will be changed. As BB-Mark pointed out, this is a "pro-active" spoiler -- you need to specifically click on your league standings to see it. Therefore, if you're interested in watching your game live, you can choose not to go to this page, and all will be fine


Sorry, that's a ridiculous defense. I click around incessantly across the site during games. It's absurd to say I should learn to not check my league standings during a cup game. Try again.

i believe it was programmed to be gone for both teams during the simulation

i suppose we could have done it the other way around.

I don't think its a spoiler, but i will check to make sure mine disappears during my game tonight.

I've changed the behavior to show the cup icon for both teams instead of showing the cup icon for neither team while a game is in the middle of being played.


very good
seeing the cup icon is helpful because it makes it faster to add games to scoreboard
