This is a Help forum.

Using a thread title of HELP is not very helpful.

Motion offense is a slow paced strategy that relies on passing. I would look at my opponents assist / turnover ratio. If his team gives up many turnovers , I put my best handling players on the floor. If my team is very good, man to man is enough. If I need to improve my outside defense, a 3-2 or 1-3-1 will disrupt his offensive flow. Since he shoots from outside, you can also focus on your rebounding to get more shots than he does. First thing , put your best handling on the floor.

Defense u could go man to man or have a look to see where his stronger players are and use a relevant defense to cover them better ie 2-3 zone if his inside players are better. 3-2 zone if his outside playera are better. Against man to man offense just go for your strongest offense which could be run and gun or motion seeing your guards are better.

If his team gives up many turnovers - What is the interaction between the offense player and defense player in this? ok. In his previous games he gave up many turnovers. Maybe his team faced opponents with good Outside Defense. We also have passing and handling on our own players stats. That's a different effect on game out come then.
If he gives up many turnovers I want to exploit this by using my defense.
It's a seperate issue to think my best handlers will give up fewer turnovers. I hope they will cause him to give more turnovers. What causes steals in the inside game?
Motion is a normal pace that involves a lot of passing. I want to counter that passing as much as I can.
I hope that explains my sentence clearly. Thank you for your information.
I hope this helps the thread readers understand it too.
