Yeah i agree his bad JS will hurt, his MVP potential is good but his current skills arn't that high.

if you put really much effort in him it could e a solid player, but he isn't that strong. For me his inside d and rebounding is maybe the bigger prob then JS, because JS is an easy train and you get it often for free while training other things.

you can just look for a player who has high potential, medium height and have at least mediorce big man skills "reb, id, is, sb" and no atrocious skill cept free throw and stamina. then you can train him up as you are already doing Big man training. you can improve his small man skills after a season or 2.
