Not sure what you mean exactly...

Do you mean that team will remain in I.1 with a new manager coming in? Isn't it a bit strange??

to clarify the situation : A team will be soon without manager and will be computer-managed. Who is going to replace that team in the ligue : a team from a lower division or a team from the same division which should have been relegated?

a team from a upper division, if it first league maybe also a team from the third division who got the place from the "extra" promoted team and so on.

Teams only receive new owners when they're in the bottom 2 division levels.

Bots only get automatically relegated in the end of season.

Therefore, until this team is a bot and it's the end of season, the team in question will play as a bot with a default lineup in the league it is in.

A team just went Bot in my league and I just found this thread. Very interesting.....so the team loses most of its good players to be placed on the market but they receive no money from this. Then the team plays with the average players that it has left in a default lineup. Is that correct?

And if so, how does the game engine decide which players to sell and which to keep on the team? Is there a rule that all players over a certain salary or skill level will be sold and everyone else can stay? Or is it the team loses its best 3 players (as is the case in my league) and everyone else stays on the team? Hope someone can make me understand this better. Thanks

Players are only sold automatically in case of imminent bankruptcy, and even then all players are being put on the market.

Hummm....Los Flosseros just went bot in my league because he did not sign in for 6 weeks. He had 3 really good players on his team and some rather average guys. Since the computer took over his team (this morning) his 3 best players are on the market as free agents and his team will not receive that money. But the rest of his players (the average ones) are still playing for him. I don't know if that makes my question different but I am just trying to understand how that whole thing works. All his players arent on the market so it couldnt be for bankruptcy.

Players with salary 10k and higher are transfer listed when team becomes bot. Remaining players are managed by computer until new user take over that team.

Well, for as long as free agents have been reintroduced, the best players in a team may be listed when he turns bot. However, this will probably only last until the end of season, and I don't know precisely what the cutoff for listing FAs is.
