im not totally sure i will get promoted as i only got promoted last season but i have a team i think is capable of making the playoffs but ive found a nice sf that i think could be a big points scorer with nice rebounding as well for cheap wich leaves me with a decent amount of money to buy a third pretty decent trainee

Obviously it's your team and I wish you luck no matter which direction you go. A good SF could very well make sense as thats one of the hardest slots to fill with a quality player. Just remember to keep your training as a priority, understand exactly what it's changing on your team when you spend money, and keeping your arena constantly improving and you'll be all right!.

well ive just upgraded my arena by about 200 seats so i dont really think i will need to add more for abit

I always recommend people keep small upgrades going until the arena is ready for the next highest division. One of the things I notice is that most teams only seem to build the arena they'll need for the EBBL once they've already gotten here. The ones that already have a fully built arena can immediately start taking advantage of the increased income potential, while the ones that don't are scrambling to catch up and typically are the ones that go down right away. They're forced to spend the promotion money on an arena rather than the needed upgrades to their roster to be competitive. So small, constant upgrades of 100-300 seats is an easy and productive way to improve your clubs future.
