As was said, you can train up to 6. Training 5 is really easy.

i would make sure you get your two shooting guards as there minutes each week as they have great skill level for div 5 already and will train well for the next two season and in your division star potential is still good for a guard as there salary dont sky rocket so much but i would focus mainly on the two shooting guards especiaclly if you plan to play an outside tatic

Yeah your shooting guard needs those training minutes the most. He's gott better potential than my big men I'm training.

I missed a hall of famer in my draft. I had the first pick....

Just an other route to go, but creating a superstar player, you can sell him on really high price, and then you will be able to buy on cheap those decent but not great players. Actually that idea sounds much faster than your approach for the same result.

For Div II you really need depth as well as a good starting 5. If you look some leagues are definitely tougher than others and some just have killer guards....
