OK, I removed the link.

Who cares about the rest of his skills? At his height, handling, passing and jump shooting will all come along quickly. Wow, he's 19 @ prodigious OD ffs! You can train the rest of his skills next season when he's nearly legendary defender.

If an Average trainer could do this, then you've got to explain to me what's the point of getting anything above Average...

haha I wasn't saying he wasn't good because of his other skills, I was just saying that it would have been double awesome if his other skills were good too.
If I was the owner I would stop training OD now and concentrate on training the other skills.

I think an advanced trainer could do it, but it is possible that the owner had a superior trainer (or higher I suppose).
Well if you can do that with an advanced trainer, maybe with a world reknowned trainer he would already be at legendary? :D

To be honest, I think the main reason he has trained so quickly is because he is really really really short and so he trains really really really fast in OD :)

Yea I would stop training his OD and concentrate on other skills at this point I agree.

Do we know for sure that shorter guards (5'10", 5'11",) train quicker than taller (6'1", 6'2") guards in OD?

Realistically I would imagine 6'2, 6'3 guards would train quicker . They have the advantage of their height and can get in the face of the opposing shooters much easier. Then again, smaller guards would have the ability to steal easier than bigger guards.

Sorry i'm just thinking out loud to myself at this point.

As far as I am aware, the general concensus is that the shorter the player the faster he trains in guard skills.
There has been some research done on it and it seems to point to this conclusion.

While it might be different in reality, in the game a 5'11" will train OD faster than a 6'3" guy, and a 7'4" guy will train faster in Rebounding than a 6'11" guy.

Ok, that makes sense. I'm curious to buy a smaller guard now, mine are over 6'.
