who take more shot determine by

1. the opponent defence, matchup (the one will a better defender matchup should take less)
2. the higher JS, DR, HA, JR usually score more
3. the higher PA, takes less shot to make a pass instead
4. depends on where the ball is delivered from and to. for example, bad PG will give the ball to the C on the perimeter which he has no shot, and the C wouldn't shoot it. Where as, a good PG pass the ball to PF match up against a PG on the low block and the PF shoot itright away.

From personal experience with Low Post, it utilizes the PF a little more. But it depends who is better, really. My PF almost always scores more because he has higher IS and JR.

So if you have a good PF, I would suggest Low Post.
