Well, maybe it's not that important a player autoassisting himself; but the other thing told, has also happened me like 2 or 3 times per game in the last month. I don't know how true it is that a player of the same team defends it's own shooter (maybe it appears on the description of the game, but it doesn't really affect the probability of the shot getting through the hoop). But if it really did affect, it would be something to fix immediately because it can decide those close end games that are winned by few points.
