Yes, the landscape of the MBBA has changed a lot during the past 2 seasons. Now we have a group of teams able to challenge for the top spot season in and season out. NoT with the 2 recent additions will represent the unstoppable juggernaut when the new season resumes. Great to see teams investing in huge talent.

Top 5 teams in the MBBA currently would be (based on team strength using salary as an indicator) :

- NoT
- RedDevilz
- Ginakia
- Too Cool
- Damiantor

All of them have shown remarkable improvement, next season should be even more explosive. Look at the difference between the top few teams in the MBBA this season, the top 3 in the Big 8 and the top 4 in the Great 8 is seperated by only a single win! Nail biting stuff!

it is a good sign of health of the whole system in Malaysia! People are increasingly using resources in their "escalation" to increase competitiveness. That's very good. Although can leave managers with some headache.

Thanks all for the congratulatory wishes. It was indeed a very tough season. The lost away to KMC in the league near the end of the season was the turning point where I started to lose ground to TooCool and Arowana in the quest for the top spot of Big 8. I ended up at second place and it meant that I would play away in the SF against Arowana, should both of us advance past the PO. Knowing I just sold off my long-serving Centre, Timo, I have barely any big guys left in my squad to defend against my opponents' inside attack. Hence, the gamble to spend big on Leon, just before the transfer deadline. Luckily it paid off. As for my new SG, it was meant to replace Inocentas whom I need to rid of, but I guess nobody wanted him. So, he ended up in my playoff plans as backup for Banka. Not wise I see to have a 70K player as a substitute, eh? Well, at least he's a great backup to my mis-firing outside shooting department.

However, I do not know if I'm ready to keep them next season, as their wages are just too overwhelming! I'm not used to keeping too-highly-paid players in my team, but as you all mentioned, the MBBA is getting more and more competitive. I need good players to try to stay where I am. It's a headache i'm not going to lie, but i need to think it thru about what i'm gonna do next season. :)

BTW, good games in the playoffs. Well done to Daimentor to upset Spaz in the SF (playing away some more)! This is a great season for me and I hope it's gonna stay the same next season, but I can foresee a fiery storm ahead of me.

Good luck to all. See you next season!

Cheers!
