Well there's a 1/2 way solution:
Do what aussie said. But, you only need them to play PF on offense to receive training. So they can still play defense at center. When you set your lineup, look at the bottom of the page. Have PF play defense as C, & C play defense as PF.

I have another question which pertains to this one. This week i was training in jump shot for wingmen, and two of my players played 48+ minuttes in agame, two small forwards. In one game they both got exactly 48 minutes, and on friday i thought i would get a popup in jump shot with my two small forwards but, thursday i changed to outside shooting and two of my players that i was training in outside shooting got 48 minutes in the game on thursday. Then after thursdays game i switched my training to one on one for gaurds, but i only got one player to popup. Now my question is, i know i did something wrong because i was expecting to get popups in jump shot and or outside shooting which is jump range. What did i do wrong? Why didn't i get any popups in jump shot or jumprange for outside shooting? I know it was something i did wrong but i don't know what, i'm still learning the training process. I have a basic idea of how to train, like when you train your players your players have to play at least 48 minutes in a game to get a full weeks worth of training.

You only get popups for the training set at friday. what you had set during games doesn't count.

yes this is good info to know.
So basically, you could have training set to 'Outside Shooting' all week, and then on Friday, change it to 'Rebounding' and your team will train rebounding for that week.

Its good to know in case you are aiming for some players to get 48 minutes to train outside shooting, then for whatever reason, they don't get it, so you can look at the 'weekly stats' and review your teams minutes, and it might end up being better off to train something else for that week.
