I believe that it is about having passing much higher than scoring, that should give a "right" tendencies to that player. While Im still not 100 percent sure about that, because never had player like this.

I didn't say my role players were the only ones who had low shooting %. I did say the pattern is the same regardless of whether the player is experienced or not.
Next time read with more attention. I am very precise with my logic.

The problem comes from your guards being unable to get the other player's the ball. As the shot clock winds down, your guards have the logic that taking a bad shot is still better than not being able to get a shot off at all.
Getting better passers would be a start. Also as mentioned, experience will help a little.

For some reason people have failed to read the last sentence of my original post and are assuming I'm talking about guards. I'm not. I'm talking about role players in all positions who don't shoot well. Look at any such player on the TL and look at other players on the same team who are good scorers and you will see what I mean. In fact keep looking for a couple of weeks and you might understand the pattern that the GE throws up.

I still wonder why my best sharpshooter is not fouled on every of his shot attempts ( despite shooting only 20% from the free throw line

To get you started, look at this team
(58238)
. Look at the season stats of the 2 centers who play in the frontcourt. This is the scoring guy
(9040874)
and other you can figure out yourself.

According to that Kendrick Perkins would be garbage. He is not a great passer or shooter. Yet he shoots over 55%, I think around 60 last season. Of course I can only compare to real basketball, not logic internally obtained from this game itself. If people want to do that then this suggestions forum is just farce.
