Yeah one of those 3 players was my scrub. The thing is that I've seen before on numerous occasions games where only 3 players played, I even see one that had only one. I also saw in my scrimmage a game that only 3-4 players were started.

Ok so you mean reserve them in the "remaining players" section at the top of the game tactic page instead of the "selected players", so this should work where I only have 3 players playing if I only have those 3 in the "selected players" section and the rest in the "remaining players"
