basically the ME fluctuates player stats throughout the season.


Really, where was this discussed or stated?

i was making an observation on things that i have seen. players can have abnormal stats then begin to streak so that the stats get the jump that is expected.

I suspect one of the problems might be that the engine matches exactly each player with his counterpart from the opposite team. So your center will never take a step to the side and block the shot of a SF, let's say.


Yes...I think this is a good point. I think as the game progresses, the match engine need to become more intelligent about how defense works.

At the core, basketball is a game of match-ups. At some point, people are going to want the ability to direct their best interior or exterior defense to defend the better offensive players on the other team.

Height plays a factor as does the opposing players skills. My center with prominent shot blocking might go 3 games with 1 block in each and then light it up for six. I've found it depends on the opposition.

From what I remember, it has been repeatedly stated that height has no actual effects in games. The only thing height matters for is training.

Higher guards have less training than the lower,
Lower center has less training than higher ????

jumpshot faster for smaller ones i think, also all inside skills for big guys and all outside skills for smaller players but im not 100% sure about that.

Training affection: inside skills(ID,IS,RB and SB) are poping faster if player is tall(so, taller he is, better he is)

Yes, but if you train guards RB, it's going to be slow training
