And where do you get that idea if I may ask? I agree that it makes sense if we're to assume that everything was perfectly fine with that play, but the truth is that all one can see in the game report is that the foul was called immediately after my player's three-point attempt. The key word being, immediately after. There is no indication of anything else taking place there.
4:25
Val Simpson opens up the play with pass to Chester Chadwick. Chester Chadwick attempts three-pointer from straight-on.
4:25
Shot missed.
4:25
Foul called on Jefferson Knutson.
I don't know... maybe you see something that I don't.

of course you can. if i remember correctly, there was an announcment on changes with rebounding. it was said that players will commit fouls while trying to get rebound and also rebounds will sometimes go out of bounds to make the game a bit more realistic.
i'm not 100% sure it's not a bug, it still can be, but i think this is the foul while rebounding. developers should change the commentary of this event, so it wouldn't confuse people.

I don't know.. perhaps you're right. All I'm saying is that it doesn't appear like it was rebounding-related foul. Call me crazy, but I just can't see how pass, shot, miss, rebounding attempt and foul could have happened in literally same second.

Thank you, Mayeah, for such a descriptive and thorough explanation.
Now, is there any BB around to answer my question?

I understand what you said. I might not understand what did you meant by "I replied your first msg, no the last one," but I understand what you originally said. "It isnt a shooting foul, its just a foul that other player did" is pretty straight-forward.
What
I
meant, by replying back to you, is that your answer doesn't really provide any explanation why is that you think that "other player did it."
I would advise you to follow the link I posted in my opening post, wait until it is 4:25 on the clock, and then tell me what do you see.
I hate to be redundant, but like I said earlier, "all one can see in the game report is that the foul was called immediately after my player's three-point attempt. The key word being,
immediately after
. There is no indication of anything else taking place there."
Sure, you can assume that "other player did it," but I'm asking you what do you see, not what do you assume. And based on what you're so certain that you're right when in reality there is no indication whatsoever that you are.

What the guy meant is: A shooting foul, is always named as a shooting foul in your report.
Since this is not named as a shooting foul -> it is not a shooting foul.
So you can see it by reading it.
