Hey what about the big men?
They take all the hits, make the dunks, grab all the boards and make their free throws!
Who makes sure that the PGs and SGs dont cut through the key or make a drive more than once in the game?
If they can pass they can also give the outside guys much better shooting opportunities and makes them look better than they really are.

I reckon if big guys are underrated its because of the volumes of them that are on the court that are poorly trained/monoskilled.

I happen to think all the positions are important, but if your team has strength in certain areas then you should play to those in how you choos your line ups, train and select your tactics etc

Once again, you have fallen for one of my classic pranks, BAZZINGA!

Think of me like Yoda, but instead of being little and green I wear suits and I am awesome. I am your bro—I am Broda!

The most important position is the coach:) He does substitutions when you need ... and when not:)

Its really hard to say, but I would reckon PG or SF is the most important, although every position has a defined role to play. IMO the least important is PF or SG simply because there are other positions that can cover its responsibilities. (although the converse may be said as well but generally, centers rebound and plays the inside better than PF and generally, PG runs the plays and can also shoot the ball as well. SF just does everything and connects the different aspect of the plays)

Couldn't split PF & PG for me. A good PG makes the offense sing while mist mismatches seem to happen at PF, offering the best scoring potential.

If you consider the PG to be "the play maker" and not a shooter, he depends on his teammates to score. Personally, I have a PG who cannot score but is a great play maker. He is very important to my team but useless if no one can score off his passes. Which leads me to my SG who is a great scorer. Now you can argue who is more important.
I think we could argue this way about any position. The most important "position" in my opinion is the team. All five players combined should cover up all skills to an extent that are necessary that wins games.
