thats what is wrong with this training sistem. Farming players, and you cant do anything about it. You can only try to top the bid. I dont think you will get a fine if there are more than 1 bid for the same player by different users.

So for such extraordinary players i dont think there is a top price, and that beyond that price you will be fined.

What I wanted to say is : If you have the money BID.

And then he'd probably get a +9 injury soon after joining your team!

I dont think there are more trades like that in the pipeline, since there's better players on the market now.

At that time, both players were getting older and past the point of efficient training. Both of us didn't want to give up an impact player without getting an impact player back. At the top division level, esp the competitive NBBA, the money doesn't help as much as having the impact player.

We both happened to be in the same situation, training complimentary positions. It's not like we started the game in season 1 and figured "hey, you train guards and ill train inside players, and 3 seasons from now we'll have a trade!".

So we both we're at the point to move our players, would it have made you happier if we just listed them at lower prices and just kept bidding up on each one, with the result being the same? We both had over 1 mil each, and then would have both been receiving money for each others player from the market, in which would have been invested in making the same result.

It's very hard to value top players on the market. Look at Pera, he went for 3.2 and might have gone for more if one of the bidders didnt run out of money. Heck, I listed a couple players hoping to gather another mil to get to 3.5 mil to buy pera.

The easiest way to deal with this problem, and the fastest way for some of the schmucks with crappy teams and no money to get out of that mire, is to train up some players that are worth 2.5 mill. If there were more than two out there, more teams would bid. Would it have helped if I had bid on one of the players...ok, I admit I didn't have that much money, but I blew roughly 2.3 mill this week.

But people can get injured with seats. Just ask Geraldo. He got his nose broken once whena melee broke out on his show and someone hurled a chair at him.

It was good TV.

a transfer compare tool would be the only way of not overpaying/underpaying for players. this way we would all know what to expect to pay/receive for a certain player. until then, i would honestly pay as much money as i have on a player, if i feel that the player would greatly improve my team. :)
but, yes, i think 2.5 mil is kinda too much, but that also depends on how good/young the player is.

the guy who creates that tool must be a really genius, so many combinations of skills and exp, age and height, also prices fall in the season break i think and rise during the first cup games... so even if you could compare sold players with nearly the same skills there could be still a big difference in the prices.

No, it's not the only way. You can do research on your own to find out what common prices are. It's pretty simple.
