have a look at the salary calculator for a guide as to what each pop will cost in salary.
OD on guards is great so it would be worth taking this up if there is room before capping.
Passing too as it will mean he can give the ball to better scoring options on the court.
ive seen times when the defense on my PG has been so good (and his handle/pass not so good) he is forced to shoot 3's all game long. This behaviour would not be good for your player with such low JR! and anyway even players with amazing JS/JR have bad shooting days, where as guys with OD and or PAS should give more to their team overall.

Thanks to both of you for the advice. For argument's sake let's say he has 5 pops left. Which player is more valuable as point guard irrespective of salary:

Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: wondrous Handling: sensational
Driving: tremendous Passing: prolific
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: average Free Throw: atrocious

Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: sensational Handling: sensational
Driving: tremendous Passing: prominent
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: average Free Throw: atrocious

i think the first, but also because both have trouble to bring in a shooting game and the slightly improve shouldn't improve it so much against a comparable defence.

i also think the first.

OD and passing 2 levels can make a big difference.

Bear in mind you probably couldnt give 5 jr pops to him in practice without popping JS and maybe whatever other secondaries it trains.

also with od and passing you might get a HA and DR but that wouldnt be a bad thing and probably wouldnt cost much salary

I would take the 1st guy, he will be a drive and pass PG with good Defense. Depending on the makeup of your team this guy could be very good.
