Its not worth getting a good FT shooter if he doesn't have good primary skills.

no but you only get him for the scenario that its a close game, youre in the lead and you want to ensure your win. Most of the time the best free throw shooter gets the ball and gets fouled

just spend a week or two training your player; I did it with my team for 3 weeks last season and my % improved about 15-20%.
