I am just the average USA manager.
If vote for me we could become a huge powerhouse for at least the next two years. And yes we will get revenge on the dang polish!
By the end of this election I want to be the above average USA manager. Thank you.

Hello everyone! I am Jason! I want to be your next USA NT Coach!! My interest in the program has grown considerably over the last few months as I have seen the outstanding job Joel (Jfarb) and Rambo have done with our teams. More than simply turning these teams in the right direction, to get them to start winning more and more, and accomplishing things that we have not accomplished since the Glory days of Coach JuicePats, is the sense of pride and community involvement they have restored to our NT teams!! I am hooked!! Not only am I passionate about our USA teams, I believe I am the perfect guy to lead us to the next level, and ultimately a World Championship!

I have been playing BB since season 12, so I am still relatively new. However, it can be argued in my short 4.5 seasons, nobody has had more success, community involvement, or activity in BB as a whole. I have been to the championship in each of the seasons I have played, winning 3 of them. In this short time I have gone from D5 to D2, and just made the rare jump of consecutive seasons from D4 to D2. I have been in 3 Private leagues, in which the top teams were ahead of mine, and yet, I have been to the Private League Championship all 3 seasons there as well. I have yet to play a season in which I didn’t make it to, or win the championship. I always find a way to get it done!

The reason for my early success has because of the good fortune of having great mentors from day 1. Right from the start, I was educated in the ways of training, enthusiasm, game shape, tactics, and roster decisions. More than helping me to be good at this game, it really prevented me from making the many mistakes that sometimes takes a season or two to overcome. I have always had a great group of elite coaches around me to bounce ideas off of, confirm things, and to learn from.

Joel is another guy that has ascended the ranks quickly. If you ask him, he credits “luck” with a lot of his success…Right place, right time, etc. The fact is he is a tremendous BB owner, and coach. And he did a phenomenal job resurrecting this program. The thing is, as great as he is with tactics, and personnel decisions, what sets him apart, is his ability to communicate and to get community involvement. You see, being an NT coach, is more than just setting a roster, and making tactical choices. It’s also about communicating and gathering interest in the NT teams. This is needed not just so we have a bunch of cheer leaders rooting us on, but so we have the best minds in the USA working together to build a tremendous organization!! So we have the best and most capable owners in the USA scouting, and training, and buying our own players and making them in NT Champions!

Despite the incredible run my team is having (44 consecutive home wins in a row Btw!), I would never dare attempt to compare my ability to Joel of running a team or anything like that…I think Joel has done a terrific job…but one area, in which I think I can take the baton, and do even better with is community involvement. He has set such an incredible standard and laid the ground work for this….And once again, I think I am the perfect person to continue what he started!

To be Continued

Cotinued

I created a Federation, that now has 104 members, is 8th largest in all of BB, and is the fastest growing Federation of any created in the last 18 months. More importantly than the quantity of this Federation, is the quality! We have some of the best BB owners in the USA, and the world! When people need input and advice, this is the first place they go! Additionally, I am in the midst of creating a Private League Network that will link various Private Leagues to each other with a relegation and promotion format…It has also has grown like wild fire! It has 57 members, and enough commitments to field more than 4 separate 16 team Private Leagues! My point is, I have the ability to generate interest, and bring people together!

I am committed to doing just that! I will do my best to get the best of the best in the USA to be involved in USA basketball. I will do my best to get their input, help, and hopefully start seeing some home grown athletes purchased and trained by our own coaches! The reason you should vote for me, is because of the people that will be involved in this with me. Joel has already committed to being part of and helping this program grow until we reach our ultimate goal! I can assure you, I will be relying on him heavily, and enlisting the help of all who have gotten us this far, to continue until we, the USA, are World Champions! Vote for GM-Jason!!

Hi there, I’m Jon. I’m the manager of the silly-named “That’s What She Said” crew in the NBBA. I’m throwing my name into the ring to be the next manager of the USA NT.

I’m certainly the most experienced and qualified candidate for the job. My reasons are below.

• To start, and most importantly, I was the NT manager of New Zealand for 6 seasons, from Seasons 9 to 14. Three terms as an NT coach taught me a whole lot on how to run a National Team. I became very adept at domestic and international scouting, as well as enthusiasm managing (it’s different than your normal team’s!), the tournament calendar (when does enthusiasm reset? What records/enthusiasm carry over?), and interacting with the local managers to keep their NT players in good Game Shape. I also made the National forums far more active, as I started numerous threads for things like training updates (it’s still being used, almost at the 1000 max post count!) and weekly gameday updates and recaps. I also created a private offsite NT forum that boasted almost ¼ of the country’s entire userbase where we could discuss game plans and roster moves. Did we perform well? No not really, but there were only 30 managers at the start. By the end of my final term we were up to nearly 100 active managers and New Zealand even made the Consolation knockout round (top 32 of 86 countries advance after round-robin play). That allowed NZ to host the next season’s Asian qualifying tourney. I love those crazy Kiwis, and they came a long way in terms of their knowledge of the game and training regimens. It feels good knowing I had a lot to do with that.

• I’ve been playing this game since SEASON TWO. I’ve been through it all and seen it all. I advanced from Division IV to the NBBA in only 5 full seasons, and this will be my 7th season in the NBBA. Again, no one running for NT manager has more experience than me.

• I’ve drafted and trained two players (Marcus Nichols and Dan Billingsley) that have been on the USA U-21 and NT rosters, each for at least 3 seasons. I know what it takes to train up an NT-worthy player, and I can help out anyone who has questions for me. I love giving advice, just ask some of my former Kiwi managers, I must have answered at least 5-10 questions a week through BB-mail!

• I was the official assistant coach to the honorable Mr. Jfarb this past season, dealing primarily with international scouting. I drew up the intelligence on our Worlds opponents and broke the data down in many different forms for him and the rest of the community to digest and form opinions on gameday tactics and enthusiasm. It was a fun role, and it helped me understand how the top-ranked teams operate their roster and tactics decisions. I’ve also been participating on the USA NT offsite forum for many years (not just seasons). It’s a great resource that has exploded in growth which is beautiful to see. I also watched almost all of our NT games live and actively chatted with fellow watchers. I’m also a one-trick pony of numerous “That’s What She Said” lines in many of SpF’s pre-game and post-game recaps.

I’m sure I could think of more stuff, but I’m not sure anyone is still reading any more :-). I’ll just reiterate my main points: I already have 6 seasons of NT head coaching experience, I’ve been playing since season 2, I’ve trained and managed former U-21 and NT players, and I interned under the US NT coach last season. I’ll take any questions you may have for me in the forums. Thanks for your time!

Hello my name is Clay. Im from Georgia and I believe I have a well understanding of this game and how it works. If you elect me Ill do my best to bring the USA to glory. I have plenty of time to manage the NT and I want to make my country proud. I dont have much good history to offer but I think I could do a pretty good job. I will adjust the lineup for every team i play for the different tactics they would put out and what would best fit against them and that fits us. Thanks and vote for me.

I'm running under the Willis Lundy platform. Vote for me and I will start Willis Lundy every game most likely for 48 minutes so I get more money.

Thank You for all your votes.

I have no shot at winning this election, I just kinda wanted to throw my name in the hat. I have owned and operated Larry's Cable Guys since season 7, so I have been around for awhile. I am not very well known except within my leagues I have competed and if you ask me I really got shafted a few times having been in the same league as Lovable Losers, Arizona Desert Storm, USA Elite, and Star Fliers. So if I could get a few sympathy votes it would be really cool. GM-Jason is a beast and a good guy that has helped me out this past season and if nothing else I wish him well and hope he gets the spot as NT Manager but if he doesn't get us a championship I say we burn him at the stake.

Hello, I'm Stephane.
You might be suprised seeing a French manager for the USA NT election. Well, to introduce myself, I'm from Paris but part of my family lives in California. That's why I'm attached to your country.
I've been playing BB for more than 10 seasons now and I've always been interested by international competitions. I'm sure that I have the necessary experience to handle your NT.
