Maybe the BBs have been listening to those who want more realism. That guy you bought is probably on a bus en route to your team's training facility.

Yeah my $60k SG sold for only $475k on account of the server failures, I wish there were someone to complain to and get some compensation Really disappointing, it's a big impact on my entire season (ie MONTHS! of real time).

Sorry about the downtime but our policy states that if you didn't want to sell him for a low price, you should have set a bigger starting price. Setting a lower price may encourage others to go into a bid war but, as you have now experienced, it carries some risk. No compensation.

Wow, that's... shockingly unfair.

Should we not safely assume that our player's auctions won't end when BB is down? Because that changes my entire outlook, and willingness to spend money on Supporter.

I really really really don't want to turn this thread into an argument. We cannot predict downtime and we are constantly working on preventing it. Also, policy is policy, so I rest my case.

Policy is policy, but policy can also be changed should sufficient cause arise. Losing customers, for one.

The policy could easily be: in the event of downtime, any transfers ending while the site is down would be rolled back.

That sounds easy, simple, and much fairer than the current system.

If I'm not mistaken, a few seasons ago there actually was a big downtime and a universal rollback of every transfer by a few hours? So the precedent has been set.

Please make the policy more obvious. Like a warning window EVERY TIME someone lists a player~

" Our servers are not guaranteed to work at all times and we do not guarantee to predict or even be aware of server failures. In this case your auction may expire at a time when no one can log in to bid. Only set a starting price you are willing to accept as a final price."

Or better yet, during the login process, a required checkbox and button that says: "By logging into Buzzerbeater, I acknowledge that life is a b**** and S*** happens. Occasionally, unfair though it may be, s*** may happen to me. I confirm that I have been notified of this."

Yeah, I thought this was always the case. To move the transfers that expired during a downtime back however much, not just let them expire and screw everyone over.
