Texas A&M is your place. Plus I'll be there next year.

If you're looking for sports/school spirit and a national audience, you should definitely check out a division 1 sports school. You'll be able to catch huge games (football and basketball) in the stadium and on national TV, and there will be tons of fans of your school - specifically if they're in one of the "Big 6" conferences like the SEC or ACC.

Here's a list of Division 1 schools in Georgia:

Augusta State! Division I in golf. That counts, right?

Thanks I appreciate the input. Unforunately, I've tired the out of state route but tuition is killer! Plus, I get the Georgia Hope scholarship if I stay in Georgia.

We have a lot of great outside shooters. Unfortunately, we play all our games indoors.

If you want a major party school go to Georgia.
If you want a sports school go to Georgia Tech.

Since when? The football team has been ok the last couple years, but georgia has a much, much better history in football, and their basketball team went 13-18 last year.

When is the last time Georgia won the NC? I believe Tech won it in 1990? Georgia hasn't won it since then...
