From the link given by you, yes it does. But doesn't happen when I search for Korea from the map and click on the conference link from there, after I went to the country's page. Did you happen to bookmark this country, perhaps?

edit: bookmark using the browser, i mean.

It's a small bug of little value (only affects very little users in a very special case) but a fix would require a lot of development time. We will not forget about it but it will not be fixed at this time.
