He sounds like a great candidate to be a SF or a PF. With A+ grade he will have very good starting skills, and because his current position is SG, that means he's likely to have good JS and JR. But with 4 AST and 3 steals, he probably has ok other guard skills.

How many minutes did he play. The 2 PF isn't too scary, but if he only played 20 or so minutes, then he has poor starting stamina, and might be foul prone.

With 4 ball potential he is like to be somewhere between perennial all-star and maybe MVP.

If he's a high potential guy, you could probably sell him for a lot of money (1 million plus, depending on exact skill breakdown). If not, sounds like a great guy to train and build a club around.

Nice find!

Heh, apparently I like to be very imprecise when it comes to potential ball ratings.

I'll have to dig around for the chart that people have posted in teh past. But I think 4 potential balls is superstar MVP (not p-allstar like I originally said).

I think you have to see if he fits into your training plan (if you have one, that is). If he doesn't, try getting him anyway, sell him for nice bucks and then buy another 18yo that fits your plans. Unless of course you find better player in the same draft class.

Nope. 4 balls is PAS-SS, MVP+ is 5 balls.

Had to look, and the chart is in the FAQ:
Potential
5 balls = 10 - 12 (MVP - All-time Great)
4 balls = 8 - 9 (Perennial Allstar - Superstar)
3 balls = 5 - 7 (Star - Allstar)
2 balls = 3 - 4 (6th Man - Starter)
1 ball = 1 - 2 (Announcer - Role Player)

Ah, I was too ready to doubt myself. Was discussing this in another forum, someone with the Mentality of a Bull corrected me, and now I find I'm correct!

Thanks darykjosef!
