Always play to win. Even when you think the championship is far, an injure or a big difference of game shapes may give you some points. Of course this is something conditional, but this is a game where you never know what will be possible.

You could think right and finally be something different because this is a game with high lucky times.

(Edit to complete the message): So the only moral law is your win. No more. Play to win.

yar
make the finals = more $ and training time.

Take a totally different approach. If you were playing relegation - against a bot. Would you lose the 2nd game? Such that you could play another game and have another week of training? (actually, im not sure if it works like that, but take the situation as hypathetical). whats moral?

You have to do what is best for your team, in the long term.
so... go on take the money and run.. woo woo ooo.

in the play off the CT is normal, and if he don#t beat you like that he didn't deserve it. If you play normal cause you are think you are loosing, you make it unfair for the other contender so ct is also the choiche of the moral. A po ct is like a normal in the league, from the effect on enthusiam.

Here's the situation:

There are three teams in my league that are going for a championship and each is very capable of it. Two of them are not in my conference and one is. I do not think my team is ready to promote and therefore, I don't want to win the championship even though I think I have at least a 10-15% chance of winning it.

My question is, is it moral for me to play Playoff CT in the second round of playoffs (against one of the real contenders), and therefore bettering my chances of beating him but lessening my chances of winning the championships (which works out for my situation)? Honestly, if I was trying to win it all, I'm not sure if I would CT or normal him. I want to go to the finals for the extra attendance revenue.

That has nothing to do with moral. You didn't do anything dishonest or something that will damage the other team. You're in there to win it (you wanna win, right?) so as all the other teams. That's competition - so you compete. No guilt if you make someone's path tougher. It's a game. And competitive spirit. Just ask yourself this - would the other team even think about moral if they were in your situation? I think not so don't be a fool :)

If you don't think you have a chance to win in the finals, why are you so interested in getting there?

And if getting there means you have to beat the one team in your conference that is better than you, and neither you nor he will promote because of it, why keep you main competition around? Wouldn't it be better to just let him promote out of the conference and be done with him?
