When I got a player appointment to a NT, I got this message twice.
I guess, that the first had been due to the inquiring, and the second due to the appointing.

I have another players that I got a single message about them.
They did not make it to the NT.

So, no. It can't be that it is the same event.
Even if the events are different (Adding and Removing), there is a difference between the cases.
And they basicaly imply the same, so of the second case is true, then they can change it to - Inquiry and Adding.

Another option - when the player is removed, send a message implying that.

Currently the messages is not correct, as it does not imply what have happened.

It is the same event. The manager just performed it numerous times.

Same event leads to the same result. That was not what have happened.
On one occasion the player had been added, on the other he was not.

It is not important what was the action -
1) Inquiring and adding (or not adding)
or
2) Adding and removing (or not removing).
There are two actions, and they needed to be handled separately

1) Why?
2) What are you talking about anyways?

What do you mean by "Inquiring"? There´s no such thing as an "Inquiry" button you can push. Either you call him up, or you don´t. Either you sack him, or you don´t. Where is your two different actions?

It´s like passing through a door. If you go through a door, the pure information "passing the door" is triggered, no matter if you´re going to the grocery, if you´re up for a date or if you simply forgot your keys and you´re about to pass the door again soon in the other direction (in case you realize before shutting it, if you don´t, then again you might not pass it anytime soon).

i agree with you, tht such message destroy a bit the news board this week.

Adding the message get kicked out of the team, would make it in my eyes worse. Removing totally would make in some cases sense, even when it sometimes is usefull to know which player got attention.

As I wrote, and as I haven't been a NT coach, this action can be upon two options:
1) Inquiring and adding.
or
2) Adding and removing.
So, it is performed upon the second option. OK... So?
Send a message upon Adding, and a message upon Removing.
It will make the message mean what actually happened.

Why? This is a message that defines what have happened.

That makes it even worse. You get roughly two times the (pointless) messages necessary. Great improvement.

How about instead giving out messages once a player actually PLAYS in the NT?

1) Currently when a player is actually added to a NT you get two messages.

2) The idea of the news board is to get actual real news.
A player that is being added or removed to the NT is news.

3) Regarding getting the message only when the player is actually playing in the NT.
I think I would like to know that my player is being considered for the NT, so I would like current message that actually informs that.
In addition, I agree that "player played in NT" is something that will be nice to add to this board as well.

1) No you don´t. You get ONE if your players is appointed. At least during the season.

Key problem is, that during the first weeks of a season, players are not kept in the NT, but "scouted" by appointing them, then firing. So you might get called up numerous times until you finally "stay".

???
I know...
This is what this thread is all about.
Did you read the description of the thread (AKA the first message)?

The solution is to have one message for scouting (not a must), one for appointing (already part of the news box) and one for removing (a must) a player from a NT.
I would also would suggest that the action of a NT manager will actually be called scouting and not joining and then removing.
