maybe 4/5 18 year old is better, in other case that 19 is worth way more. he will never hit u 21 squad but you can train him all your life for a superstar player of your team

Another consideration might be if he is a big man or a guard.

If he's a big man, you can train his inside skills to high levels fairly quickly. That makes the loss of the 18 year season a bit easier to take. Now, you might not have a lot of time to work much on secondaries, so you'll have to hope that some of tat 5 skill balls are in outside skills. In that case, you might want a big man who isn't 7'4" or above. Most often those kind of players get created with high inside skills, but atrocious in every guard skill.

What about if he's 19yo 5/5 6'1" guard compared to a 18yo 4/4 6'1" guard?

Probably all depends on the skill breakdown. Put a crappy value in any of the guard skills that must have single position training (e.g., JR, OD, PA) and it's gonna be a big hit to his value. Also probably depends on what the actual potential coming out of the 4 ball 18 year old is.

If I had this choice, and was set on selling, knowing only this info, I'd probably go 18 year old.
