I work in the software development field and a feature like this should have been implemented by now

Basically it will probably be easy to code.
The scrimmage search tool may be the base code for that, and instead of testing whether a team already been scheduled to scrimmage, they need to test other factors (is this team is a supporter, can it be invited to PL, etc.).

I agree with you, although I'm not (yet?) a supporter.

Have you tried joining a federation? It´s rather easy to gather a bunch of people with "some" connection to each other, and federations are great places to find those (as they are all supporters anyways).

We had 48 teams in our PL last season and had to turn several away. It is really just a matter of advertising, persistance and organisation.

but overall i think the change would be great, and there are also teams who likes to play everytime new teams.
