im curious as to wear all the people are that want to run for the NT are as we have no actual people put there name down yet and were are all the foreign people that try and fail. Is Dire running again or is he still unsure also are the likes of coachnoodles or others gonna put there hand up

I'm semi interested but will let somone else have a crack if they are a decent candidate. I have a fair bit on my plate with work and have not been as active on the forums of late which i know won't be something that a lot of the community will like.

I know there are a couple of other guys that were keen so hopefully they will run and i'll wait another term or 2. If not i'll throw my hat inot the ring shortly.

yeah i thought there were a few people that were interested in doing, i thought leeroy might of had a crack due to his involvement with the u21 lately but guess hes waiting to run for u21 next season anyway would be good to atleast have more candidates than ME

Well I'm going to run for a NT job, just not sure if it will be here or South Korea where a) I have a player so vaguely interested in how the team goes already and b) smaller country with little to no expectation, so a good learning experience.

Trikster or coachnoodles would be great and I would have no problem voting for one of them. But what about Dire? Can't he take the team one more time while he waits for Iwen who said he would like to take the senior team after he was finished with the U21 mission (already been a massive success!)?

Funny we used to have so many people wanting to run this. I am already doing India U21, Iwen is already doing Australia U21. Surely there are others. I have heard Whitebeard mentioned by some as a brilliant candidate. As the youngest ABBL champion and most successful of the 2nd generation teams surely he would be brilliant.

I was really hoping that whoever was interested in running for the NT this season would make an effort on the offsite forum but there has been no extra activity there at all which is disappointing as whoever becomes NT manager will obviously need a strong presence there.

If nobody else really makes a proper case for it, i might run again but if i did the focus would definitely be on actively finding and training the next manager instead of waiting for one to come forward like this season. Would be interested in seeing the new defensive focus at work too but we'll see what happens over the next couple of days.

Yeah any of those 3 would be good, and yeah offaite forum for nt team has been very quite but I think that's due to all of us being caught up in our run of Asian champs with u21 side

Sorry but i think a recent focus on the U21 side is a pretty weak excuse for not being involved in the NT over the past 2 seasons if you were interested in the NT job. iwen has been leading the U21 squad and still manages to make some input in to the NT forums.

I mean, if you don't have the time or can't be bothered to simply provide some input/discussion on the forums at the moment, how are you going to find the time or motivation to run the whole team?

I'm not singling you out personally Brooksy, focusing more on that statement and throwing it out there to everyone.

Oh i agree with you on it not being an excuse for being an excuse for not having an input I didn't mean for it to come out sounding like an excuse.
