Its similar to cup money. Could be a seen as a bug could be seen as a feature but i don't see it changing either way.

Well in my last league game match one of my players got injured in the first quarter. I quickly went to set my line-up for my next game since I heard checking there actually confirms long term injuries and turns out he was in red. 2 week injury for a valuable player. :/

All in all it probably is due to the 15 minute calculation beforehand.
