On top of that, run a roster of 9 players.... and Strictly follow depth chart, backing up each other position and reserve with their 1 allotted back-up person. So even if theres a blowout, there'll be no one to sub in for your guy.

Oi, I don't quite get this one. How could you have a backup and a reserve at each position with only a 9 player roster? You've got 5 guys on the court at one time. Maybe i'm not getting something important here. Hmm?

PG = 1
SG = 2 backup = 6
SF = 3 backup = 7
PF = 4 backup = 8
C= 5 backup = 9

so, starter-backup-reserve looks like:

1 - 1 -1
2 - 6 - 2 (or 6)
3 - 7 - 3 (or 7)
4 - 8 - 4 (or 8)
5 - 9 - 5 (or 9)

starter minutes=32 backup=12 reserve=4

so:
1 - 1 -1 gives the point guard 48 minutes
2 - 6 -2 gives the starting sg 36 minutes and the backup 12
3 - 7 -7 gives the starting sf 32 minutes and the backup 16
4 - 4 - 8 gives the starting pf 44 minutes and the backup 4
APPROXIMATELY (depends on how close the game is, how crazy your coach is, stamina, and differences in player attributes)

The trainee doesn't have a backup and reserve at his position, so that he can play 48 minutes...
