Does GS really have that connection to DMI?
I have 4 players that are 9 GS - they are players salary x
15.54-14.22-14.82-11.59

You can find Josef Ka comments and formula about DMI here.

(160760.1)

Yes GS is connected to the Salary, but the "current salary", i.e. salary computed taking into account the training ups since the beginning of the season. Far in the season it could be significantly different from the base salary determined at the beginning of the season.

does the DMI even do anything, or have significance, is it something worth looking at even, etc.?

I use it for two things.

1/ guess my game shape sublevel. I record my base DMI the first week of the season when GS is reset to 7. Then by conparing my weekly DMI to the base value or to the previous week value I can see wether my GS is 8(high) or 8(low) for example. When it is close to th evalue for GS 9, it's mean GS is 8(high).

2/ To asses the strength of opponent players. Early in the season you can use the salary. But later in the season if the player was trained is printed salary could be far lower than it's current value. As DMI is based on the virtual salary, it takes into acount training since the sason begining, so it gives a better picture of the player strength.

All have a similar ratio around 14-15, except Mladenovic.
He may have significantly lower value in Stamina, Free Throws or Experience?

CoachParrot by Josef Ka has your #1. Since it has your players skills and GS and DMI it tells you.
ex.
Lower Range
8.27
Higher Range
8.42

The Sublevel varies because it depends on the sublevels of the players skills.

If I take value at season start with GS 7, my DMI/GS ratio is around 3.65.
rookies whether 18 or 19 seems lower under 3.
