i have nfi how they afford their abbl salaries in division 2 & 3 but no doubt Urmummas have the best accountants in oz & if their coaching staff are as good then smeltz will be going back to the abbl for the 3rd time
it will be a big achievement it is VERY rare for teams to promote from d2 in their first season there & i cant think of any team that has done it in modern times

not to be confused with the other ton trained by iwen this ton is probably better i know the 1 time i played glenelg ton gave me hell
glenelg is a top team that was in the abbl last season and fought hard but still ended up in 8th but no doubt they have great players & are really well managed they lack the real big stars that the top 2 teams have but have a solid cost efficient roster & if they do have an abbl stash can also baloon late in the season & become a major threat
as the top ranked d2 team i wouldnt sleep on them if i was Urmummas

im just waiting for the other players to make their moves ... glenelg tigers and HSD are MAJOR threats, dont let their current placings fool you ;)

hsd just got pwned in the cup they r off the boil this season & need 2 do something to change things they should probably sell 1/2 their team & replace them with better guys

but glenelg r major threats

I think im a great chance of promoting this season.

not because i have good team, but because everyone else in the division is flippin tanking.

pick #32 is late 2 get a superstar so akuma had some luck but landing in 3/6 wasnt

this is a really unusual season with several new teams having a chance to promote the economy changes have really helped new teams when teams used to promote it was a mega fight just to stay up now it seems they can go for the championship right away

akuma is an original fishbowl team & while an easybeat in the early seasons has managed their economy well & built up into a powerhouse but they arent alone in this div

close call on best player but groppo is another home grown hero who seems to score well in 2/3

this is another new team in both ways starting season 11 & only in 2nd season in d2 they have made great progress & managed 3 games a week well although it isnt hard 2 do in 2/3 with half the league tanking as they said in this very thread

Coach Regan was all over the forums before he emerged in d2 showing reading the forums & understanding the game really helps

his no-star team is solid all around but he will need at least one big purchase to feel confident of the championship

i know snuffles from his 2/1 days & he is a shrewd manager who always had an efficient team w a couple of standout players but he was very lucky getting back to the abbl after cowboys stuffed up their lineup in the finals of season 16 but 4 seasons abbl must be respected & who knows what $ they have in the bank - a massive threat!

isnt known around as the luckiest player with massive injuries derailing him more than once he was supposed to be tanking & spent nearly $2 million on 2 18yo trainees this season but everyone else out tanked him, used to be known for his many time league mvp Božo Vasilić who he sold off for unknown reasons a team who has had 14+ seasons in d2 is surely due a little luck at some time right
