Have you been tracking his DMI if its been going up? Maybe he is a VERY high 7 GS.

Game shape is a wacky thing. I had one player drop from 9 to 8 playing 62 minutes, and then rise from 8 back to 9 playing 87 minutes. I've been tracking my game shape shifts with different minute thresholds for the last ten weeks, and basically the main thing I've discovered is that if you keep your weekly minutes in the target range (48 to 72 minutes) you'll be 7 or above in GS. I've never seen a 7 drop to a 6 when you land in the target range, but you are not guaranteed to rise to 8 or 9 even if you do land in the target range. However, landing in the target range you will more often than not rise to 8 or 9. I'm trying to lock in a # of minutes to play to keep GS at 9, but as several people have mentioned, every player is different. Besides, managing exact minutes is not easy to do.

Yes i did :
week 1 - 442 500 DMI
week 2 - 357 000 DMI
week 3 - 361 400 DMI
week 4 - 431 200 DMI
week 5 - 400 700 DMI
week 6 - 411 000 DMI

It has some relevence to minutes but the player has been on my roster for the past 4 seasons and this has never happend to him

Hmm that's weird, seems like your guy doesn't like playing more than 61 minutes or else he drops in DMI :)
Obviously there isn't enough date here to prove that but it can be interesting, maybe you need to get 48-60 minutes for this particular guy to increase in DMI and GS.

This can be a very interesting study, to prove how many minutes = a pop in GS for someone with "so and so" ST or with a certain age or something.

Yeah it will be fun to see this guys DMI, since he's having some GS issues.
Don't expect me to do a massive research, since I dont have the time or brains to do so, we'll leave that to the experts ;) but I can definitely point out the little things.

Yes ofcourse but still a good thing to put data out there and a little statistic exercise doesn't hurt

What the... I've always wanted to know if stamina has an effect on Gameshape. Would be interesting to try and find out.

I have the same problem too. But only on one player. When I bought him he had awful GS, and playing him for 48 minutes with GS training had his GS surge to 6. But I played him again for 48 minutes, and trained GS for the second week but he only popped by one :(
