first of all you should go to help, second of all, 400k PGs are very hard to keep. third of all, he won't cap at his potential cause 1 season is already gone and potentially 10-13 pops. here's how I see him.....train OD, PA, and DR to make him a PG.....JS a little.

S21. start him now he is 6/4/6/7/5/6/-1/2/5/5/-5/3
do 5 weeks of OD and 5 weeks of DR. then the extra 4 weeks do some passing. now he is at aproximately

6/4/10/9/9/9-/1/3/5/5-/5/3 (end 19)

S22: Now do some ST. get him to 7. 3 weeks there. then do 3 weeks JS, 4 weeks OD, and 4 weeks DR. now he is
8/5/10/9/9/9-/2/3/5/5-/7/3 (end 20)

S23: now do 5 weeks OD, 5 DR then 4 PA. now he's
8/5/14/11/13/12-/2/4/5/5-/6/3 (end 21)

S24: now do some JS and JR to get it caught up with the other, 4 weeks JS, 3 weeks JR.....other 7 do four DR then three OD. now he's
12/8/16/11/15/12-/2/4/5/5-/6/3 (end 22)

S25: probably final training season. do 5 weeks Passing, 4 weeks driving, 3 JS, 2 OD. now he's
14/9/17/12/17/15-/2/4/5/5-/5/3 (end 23)

S: 26 time to stop, trim up the JS/OD, get JS to 16, then OD to 20. end of season, with about 3 weeks left, do some stamina. now he's

16/10/20/12/17/15-/2/4/5/5-/7/3 (end 24) he's 84%-91% trained, 120ker, after this the next season you can do all FTs all year long, 10 pops is good ;)

so now he's done and he sells for about 1.6 MIL...this is just my thinking and based off a salary estimation...on a computer

Don't tempt me to go out and raise the bid on that player just to spite you! ;) I mean, if you really want to try to build a 400k guard, good luck with that! I just think you'll have better luck on focusing on something more realistically achievable like a Kurt Rambis for Hall of Fame campaign.

He's only a HoF. Is 400k even reachable?

Well, considering that he failed to purchase the player, I'm going to go out a limb and say he isn't turning him into a 400k monster. I think the OP wised up and decided to put a bid in on a 200k+ guard instead. (Wised up, of course, may not be an accurate analysis of the situation).

I did a typical PG build that can score and pass. According to Buzzer Manager, a HoF PG would cap at around 338K with these stats. I went with one atrocious stat and 3 low stats since you don't typically see atrocious' all over Guards.

JS 17
JR 15
OD 20
HA 18
DRV 17
PA 18
IS 1
ID 3
REB 5
SB 6

Edit: I messed around with the stats some more and gave him less shooting ability and more passing (JS 15 DRV 16 HA 17 PA 20) and the highest I could get his salary was 374K.

If you're interested in jacking up the salary, bump the rebounding a few more levels. I also don't imagine that a player will get to OD20 with ID3, but given the hypothetical nature of the exercise I don't particularly care to check that. ;)

It was an educated guess but I guess not so much educated since I've only trained PF/C's so far in my BB career. :D

I just assumed that if you were working solely on a PG with HoF potential that you'd only focus on the above high skills. Also since many players start out with other non essential stats at weird levels, I just threw some numbers out there. Do guards in training really receive a ton of secondary pops in the big man skills?

So far in my big man training, my players have only received 1 OD pop max, per player in roughly 2-3 seasons of training.

ID is trained as a secondary skill for pressure, while OD is not a secondary skill for any of the inside trainings. It doesn't pop exceptionally quickly as a secondary, but I think even an 8 OD / 1.00 ID trainee would pop at least three times over the 12 levels of OD training. Just glancing at the training project data, it looks like they have pressure giving about 1/4 the training for ID as it does for OD for a 6'0 player - so ignoring the elastic effect, it probably would be at least 4ID when finished. Factoring in the elastic effect would add another level at least, and of course starting level and sublevel.
