What procedure are you using to update it? Follow the recommended step in the web page (download or faq).

I try to update as explained in the faq and it didn't worked so i try a clean install, same problem. I tried with several location on my hd.

After a clean install, do you connect? Or do you copy any file before?

No right at the end of the clean install i check the launch BC and click finish. BC is launched and i get the error.

Try this:

Install BC in a different folder, and be sure that you are executing that install selecting the exe file in the windows explorer.
After the install, execute and give the result without any other operation.

Is it a clean install in "F:\BuzzerControl\" without any other operation?

Ok.

Try this:

Close BC.
Complete backup.
Open with Notepad "...\data \version.txt".
Delete all in the second line, after "1.10".

The file will have these 3 lines at the beginning after your correction:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.10
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
