Cyborgs tiny arena will cause him to relegate this season this season. If by some miracle he manages to stay in D.III, he will be spending money he should be saving for later just trying to stay afloat. Then the next season season will do him in.

ya, his arena is the main problem that he promoted so quickly. Regardless, he understands the game well and knows he needs to build, build, build... D3 is hard no matter what, but I think he'll be ok

This is what I just learned. I was in DIII the last two seasons and I couldn't compete at all because my arena was tiny. The first year I lucked out in the relagation series to stay but this past season I winded up 8th. All the money I could've spent on arena I spent on getting players that could compete. Coming down to D.IV will be great for me as I can build my arena to where it is at least a decent size. I'm not sure what a good size is, but build build build.

>>> Looks like the Cyborgs moved up too fast, the talent alone in this League is incredible, my arena is just to small to maintain the needed salaries to compete in this League... from the tactical stand point of the game, i do understand it well, but in some other area's of the game i still need to learn. I understand that the onslaught of beat downs every game all season long will begin on Sat.... my plan is to train up my trainees, revamp my roster by lowering my salary cap, as we know the fans will disappear once we go 0-6 and to slowly build up the arena in small increments as the Cyborgs spiral down into relegation and try to save some money along the way... on a positive note, we will have a shot at a decent draft pick next season... good luck to you this season.... BUILD YOUR ARENA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

intimidating logo Cyborgs, pretty cool lol

Yes, you have to build your arena. I learned from a lil bird on my side in my 1st Real season in D5........told me to fire sale

I did that, used that to build arena to 6500 seats, then after that I just kept building and building until I got to 8000 seats when I promoted into D4.

I fire sale again, tanked, built my arena to basically what it is now (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/30640/arena.aspx) and now in good shape to do a steady, nice rebuild with gaining tons of cash and possibly could make playoffs, despite me OPTing this season (Out-of Position Training)

so arena is key, especially in lower divisions.....get it to 10k before you think about going back up to D3 again ;)

>>> The Logo & Banner are great, thanks to Cometahalley, he put it all together...

Yep, i most definitely will be building the arena in small increments, will be having a semi- fire sale soon, i have a real nice SG that I will put up after I am out of the Cup run...

this hopefully will give me a little cushion for the slow build and a buffer once the fans don't show up anymore..

Ya no doubt, main thing in this game is to build as much as possible... Theres no pt spending money on players unless u have the arena to back it up, I learned the hard way that u really need to spend most of ur money on arena...

Ya man, no doubt ur gonna have a hard time this season, D3 is a totally diff monster. No matter what, u know the game well and know u need to build a lot, so I think u got a good chance of surviving and in the worst case scenario ull relegate and promote right back up. Happy u promoted so quickly, sad to not have u on the league anymore, a D3 team joined the league and is tough as nails, will prolly promote again.

I dont plan on promoting til at least (best case scenario) next season so my arena will be way bigger by the time I promote, whenever that happens...

Ur arena is looking great, tons of seats... still think u overbuilt LT for now, but at least it's ready for the future, just gotta keep building bleachers and by the end of the season it'll be D3 ready no doubt...

Reading this post just gave me a reality check. Just dumped 315K to add 1300 seats to my 6640 capacity I already have. I was going to invest in a better SF but until I lose in the Cup my squad shot be fine. I will just bank up money and then possibly make a run at SF after the All-Star Break.

This is going to be a rough year just hoping to be in 5th or win a regulation series. Started on the right foot with a victory tonight.

Ya, 6.6k is very small for D3, I still think arena is a much better investment than any player...
