Oh, I use LCD all the time already, and I don't have any serious issues with how it's working - if I didn't, I wouldn't stick with it. I know it does a few weird things, but overall I think it works fine for me. I still don't know how it will work with the scenario I described, though, and I'm not interested in wasting a full game finding out when I can get the answer here instead.

I'd not use LCD, the reason is just because it may affect the training minutes. I want a my player plays his position for 48+ minutes and get trained.

However, I might try this in a playoff game, and see what "weird things" will happen ...

If I use "Let Coach Decide", but fill one or more spots in my lineup, will the coach override my selections or will he only have the freedom to set the spots I don't fill?

I discover that the coach will not override my selections. For anyone else in the future who might ask the same question.

Just because he hasn't overridden your selections so far doesn't mean he can't do so in the future. I hope you don't have trainees that need 48+, then get subbed out at the last second.

I'm not sure if it's in this forum or the BB Global - English forum, but IIRC, some guy said he set his trainee as the starter-backup-reserve and only put in 8 players. Or maybe the guy was only the starter, I don't remember. Then the coach proceeded to keep the guy that was supposed to start on the bench.

Duly noted. I kind of wish these things were in the manual. That said, I don't use LCD in games where training is the focus, so it hasn't been a problem yet.
