Thanks for the reply Mr. South Carolina

You have officially convinced me to go with a SF. Very true that the SF spot is the weakest on 75% of teams. I am prepared to take a long time on forming my team, so training the SF won't be a problem. Now i just have to hope to grab a player who i can train along with him in the draft, otherwise i should probably buy another trainee to go along with him. +1

Agree with training SF, because if you have to buy one they're either super expensive or have bigger holes than you like. If you train one yourself, you can make him very salary efficient and entirely suited for your team. That last part is hard to achieve with a SF from the transfer list as SF's are very diverse. PG's are easier to find.

The thing to keep in mind is if you're training SFs, the problem with training bigs still applies, just not every week - because they'll still need some inside training or they'd just be guards. ;) But 2 game weeks can be used for rebounding, or you can target specific weeks to train inside when you're sure you'll lose or sure you'll win in the league, or if you just have the 1 SF trainee and the others were guards, you can just train inside in the scrimmage and maybe your starters might end up squeezing out a bonus pop.

It would be even better if you nabbed such a player in the upcoming draft Would be cool watching him grow week to week.

You hit the nail on the head sir...I play this game for those beautiful green arrows that you see on Friday afternoon. They are like a new toy...after a pop, you can see it in action the same day(my Private league games are 4 hours after the training update). Good luck in your draft!!!! And +1 ball for ya...great post
