I think it's quite difficult to make players "not creepy looking"... since creepy or awkward something is just subjective. The face "composition" sometimes is weird, but I find it ok.
About names instead: I agree the database is good and with a wide variety but... come on, there should be a "weighted randomness". You can't have 3 "Mark" and 3 "insert VERY weird name here". In every population there are common names, uncommon names and strange names.
If you look at the U21 Italian team (just an example), out of 15 players there are 6 (Igli, Norberto, Ottorino, Elpidio, Gianrico, Aroldo) whose names are absolutely I never heard (or seen written in books). I mean: it's fine to have strange names, but half of the national team is populated by strange guys lol :D

btw, this is about very minor tweaks... the game needs other things (more important) right now...

I like how there is a wide variety of names. I wish names in real life had more variety. There are two Steve Smiths who play wide receiver in the NFL. Two of the defenseman (out of 6) for the United States men's national ice hockey team, are named Erik Johnson, and Jack Johnson. Two different musicians are named Eric Johnson and Jack Johnson. None of these people are related.

One thing I would like to see though, is names like J.J. Redick, Robert Griffin III, or Ken Griffey, Jr.

I also think supporters should be able to give players nicknames.

There is weighting. It's nowhere near as complex as reality or even very well polished, but (depending on the country) it is still pretty good. Contact the LA team to see if they can improve things, if you feel there is a problem with any particular database. But it is an enormous task.

yea I'd like the same thing..........maybe the sons of former BB players can now be implemented into the game since by now a lot of the old guys retired and their "sons" are playing buzzerbeater ball too.

For example: there could be more IIs, Jr.s' involved...........maybe even the same last name and maybe even kinda looking like the father (srsly why was Ismael Grubbs Jr. black when the original one was white? :-/ [just to mention])

oh and also brothers would be cool (although some of us already make some "brothers" happen)
