Does the tiebreaker exist? I havent ever seen two teams with same wins, same point difference and same total point scored.

Any example(s) in any league / division / country?

I'd be surprised if it has happened before. There are a lot of outcomes, but the odds are still so infinitesimal that I wouldn't expect it's happened before.

I have seen with only 2 points apart on the PD once so i do believe it must have happened at least once. There are a lot of bot leagues in this game (1024 leagues in every D.VI for example) so it must have happened at least once.

I missed the playoffs one season by two points of PD - and that two point difference was a buzzerbeater dunk by my opponent who was already in garbage time. (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/10/overview.aspx?seaso...) (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/42762325/reportmatch.as...)

I imagine there must have been some PD ties. I think the chances of a tie in Points Scored and Allowed are very low, though, but the thing with very low probabilities is that eventually it'll happen once somewhere if given enough opportunities. (Which, incidentally, is the title of Shaq's Free Throw Shooting instructional video)

Aye, you're absolutely right. I thought you were referring to getting to whatever tiebreaker there was beyond a tie in points scored. I can't imagine that's happened.

The original question was about a tie in all criteria though, so basically the example is nowhere near that outcome.

However, I was responding to Manon specifying that he'd seen a two point differential once with an anecdote about how I was involved in a two point differential difference that would have been a tie if not for a last-second dunk. Luckily, I then also proceeded to describe how unlikely it was for there to be an exact tie, so my wild offtopicness was not complete.

Hi I just dont understand the tie-breaker based on forfeit??

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/2009/overview.aspx
here's a link of my league, if Healthcare loses and South Beach wins they'll both end up with 8-14 records.

I was thinking that South Beach will be seeded 4th owing to higher point differential. but you are reffreing that forfeits will be the 2nd tie-breaker? how does it apply in this case?
