There are so many free agents this offseason and with the new cap rules in the nba, a lot of people are going to be out of jobs I think.

It seems that the Raptors can get rid of Bargnani. That would be one of the best news I can get this off-season.

It is still amazing to me that a 7'0" guy can only average 5 rebounds per game for his career.

To be fair the Nets couldn't beat the Bulls even without D-Rose.

I know, and that's why I included the Bulls in there. Even if they had lost to the Nets, I probably would have the Bulls ahead of the Nets.

Because he only has a 7'0" body while he is 6'0" minded. He doesn't have any kind of an inside presence.

You say there are lots of GOOD free agents and then follow up with D12, Al Jefferson, Josh Smith, and Monta Ellis. Why didn't you say some of the good players? Just pulling your leg, but seriously that was not a list of productive players outside of Howard when he is healthy. The rest are poor shooting volume scorers with little to no D...just about the bane of existence according to the currently popular analytics (which I fully endorse, btw).
This new CBA is going to crush some teams. You can't afford to be wasting premium dollars on bench players anymore. I think the Wizards will come to regret the backup SF Martell Webster (5.5 per year for 3 years) signing and Spurs will regret giving Tiago Splitter 9 a year for the next 4 years especially after he was exposed in the Finals.
I'm a big Cavs fan and I'm excited to see if they can take the plunge and sneak in as the 8 seed this year. Won't be as big of an accomplishment as so many teams are all in for Wiggins this year. Kyrie should be an All-Star and will see some solid improvement from Waiters and Tristan after Mike Brown gets some defensive coaching into them. I think they will be close with a line-up of:
Irving/Free Agent PG
Waiters/Miles
Gee/Earl Clark (rumored to sign)
Thompson/Bennett
Varejao/Zeller
If they can add a veteran SF like a Danny Granger or flip Varejao/Thompson for a true Center like Asik or Pekovic they will be shoe-ins for the 8 seed.

So far based on your opinion, the Eastern Conference looks like this.
1- Heat?
2- Pacers or Bulls/ Bulls if Rose is healthy
3- Pacers or Bulls/Pacers due to above
4- Nets or Knicks/Knicks if they improve performance greatly
5- Nets or Knicks/Nets due to above
6-76ers or Hawks/76ers if Noel isn't a total bust.
7- 76ers or Hawks/Hawks due to above
8- Cavaliers/Boston/Raptors
As for the Bucks,Magic,Pistons, and Wizards: GTFO
Looking at the Western Conference, I don't even want to get started.
Now for the Cavs.
I personally think they should start Bennett just for the hell of it. Just to see how he performs.
8th seed is really up in the air although I either have my money on the Cavs or the Raptors. Maybe even higher for each of them. But that's really pushing it.
If the 76ers can resign and trade Andrew Bynum before he sits out another season that would be a plus. That is, of course unless he doesn't play like garbage. Then all would be on Noel's shoulders, and the sooner he can play, the better for the 76ers. Pretty formidable front court Bynum and Noel. Somebody hook me up with a good name for the Bynum and Noel combo.
Nets Vs. Knicks= Game of the year.
Let me tell you why.
1.Area Rivalry
2.Carmelo Vs. Pierce and Chandler Vs. Garnett
3.All of this is true. That is, if the Nets can keep their players.
Nets (Projected) Starting Five
Pg. Deron Williams (18.5 M)
Sg. Joe Johnson (21.5 M)
Sf. Paul Pierce (15.3 M)
Pf. Kevin Garnett (12.4 M)
C. Brook Lopez (14.7 M)
That adds up to $82.4 million for that starting five, which already would put the Nets at more than $20 million over the projected salary cap for 2013-14. Add in Terry’s $5.2 million, and we’re reaching $90 million for not even half the roster. Maybe it's just too big to fail.
I'm a little tired of typing so rest your eyes while I feel proud of myself and feel like I'm Steven A. Smith.

Another strange news report about a Nugget of mine. The Kings offered Andre Iguodala a 56 million dollar deal O.o ..... and he declined it... I have a couple issues with this:
1. Why would a team spend 56 million dollars on Iggy? I love him to death as a Nuggets fan, but even I know he isn't worth even 2/3 of that. Why would the Kings offer so much for him? He only averaged 14-5-5, which is decent, but still....
2. Why on earth would he not accept this offer? :O That is clearly the best deal he will most likely receive for the rest of his basketball career. I am dumbfounded. Hopefully now he sticks with the Nuggets though.
