actually you can already do this by clicking manage my team during the game and it will show the attendance for the game going on.

good idea, and yes you can check it on the other page once the game has begun (i think after first half or thereabouts).

But it would be nice to have something occur at half time. Perhaps this could be shown across the court during half time or something like that.

I like the idea. Besides the announcement, we should have a live "counter" to see the fans entering the arena before the game.

Say the game starts around 7:00pm.
5:30pm - A counter will start from 0.
6:00pm - The number keeps going up as fans enter the arena
6:45pm ~ 7:00pm - The attendance jumps quickly as fans rush getting in the arena.
7:00pm - Game starts
7:15pm - The number slows down as most of the fans entered the arena already
7:45pm - Announce the attendance at half time
8:30pm - Game finishes.
