nachtmahr did some research on this:
1500 minutes (league games) for one Up
Cup games, playoffs, relegation give more exp, scrimmages less. I am not sure about NT and U21, but i guess it gives also more.

Ok that's helpful. Thanks :)
Does experience effect the way a player plays? I would assume so. In what way? Do they play Harder? Faster? Stronger? Do they learn other skills quicker?

Harder, probably. Faster, probably not. Stronger not likely either. Learning skills quicker almost certainly not.
Taking better decisions and better performance in clutch situations is the most likely benefit.

I'd like to open this cold case again
Is there a new & valid information what experience does and how fast (depending on gametype) it raises?
Regards,
Ted

I guess players commit less fouls the more experienced they get

Well, in real life experience does a lot. The question is, how it works in bb. Are some skills 'raised' because of better IQ? Is it depending on matchup player A vs player B or Team A vs Team B etc...
Some games were played since the last post here. Hoped some Elder Statesmen have more than guessing ;-)
Also 1500 league minutes/pop seem a lot for a 48minutes-trainee...
regards,
Ted
