With respect to potential, is it possible player with a three start rating to have an actual rating in the two or three star range?

I was also looking for the amount of offensive rebounds the center made, since they are more difficult is this right

I'm not sure I read this right but if I do, yes it is possible

Excuse my poor phrasing. My question is asking whether the 1-5 star potential rating is an approximate, and thus fuzzy, value.

Well, I guess we all have to wait and see how this potential works in draft.
Fact is that there are much more levels (I think 10) of potential, than there are draftratings for potential (only 5) so it will probably be an estimate, but chances are that 1 in draft resembles levels 1 and 2 of potential, 2 in draft resembles 3 and 4 in potential,...
We might get more acurate info after the drafts have been picked.
