I don't like your plan to go SF/PF with them. 6'1" is incredibly small for a SF and 6'7" is pretty small for a PF. Generally the smallest I think you want your trainee to be for a SF is 6'4" or inside skills take to long to accumulate and 6'8"-6'9" is about as small as you want your PF otherwise big skills take longer to train.

I would go the SG/SF route to be honest. This means a lot of JS and OD training to start probably but it will most likely be best for the long run. Throw in some Passing and 1v1 too.

Jump Shot: strong Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: prominent Handling: prolific
Driving: prolific Passing: prominent
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: inept Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: average Free Throw: inept

I think this is possible for them to reach at the very end of their 21 year old season. This would give them a wonderful foundation to go multiple different directions with them based on what your team and financial situation is looking like. I just don't think the Forward route for both of them is a very solid plan based on their heights.

My team isn't a full season old yet, I had less than 20 points to scout out these guys so I think I did alright. They both popped in RB last week, I'm training two position stuff because I have 6 trainable guys. Better to get as much homegrown salary for when the salary floor kicks in (will be during the offseason for me I think).

I'll have the top pick in the draft (still waiting on the scouting list...) so there's a good chance these two won't be the focus next season, but I think they are a decent backup plan if the draft is a dud.

I drafted a third 19yo who you would undoubtedly think is better:

Potential: allstar
Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: average Handling: average
Driving: strong Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: inept
Rebounding: awful Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: atrocious

While I do appreciate your advice, I don't quite agree with all of it. I'm a returning manager so not a complete noob, I'm trying for a homegrown team this time around, I just don't want to invest time on the transfer list. I hope your new thread isn't aimed at me specifically
