If you mean in the same off-season cleanup process?

Then I believe there is no actual 'demotion' that occurs - you might finish last or lose relegation, but you never actually get demoted (because of bot cleanup).

So there is no 'promotion bonus' that occurs.

Yeah two different things: everyone gets the promotion bonus lump sum when they promote but only league winners get the attendance boost. In this case, the team will get neither because they are not demoting.

As it happened, I failed to lose to a bot so won't be able to experiment.
