HSD going all in for the glory this season;
High School Drop-outs $ 1 001 401
rimmers $ 952 513
You Shouldve Dunked! $ 783 963
Koopasaurus $ 782 250
WA IS A DUMP $ 772 988
Kinky Koalas $ 748 665
North Carlton Cavaliers $ 684 262
Whitebeard $ 680 220
Kobe Resurgents $ 654 364
Geelong Vipers $ 618 272
Lewisham Wombats $ 587 045

TEAM LORDY $ 538 238
tannum tantrums $ 514 560
Surry Hills Peeps $ 431 450
Aussie Pride $ 80 408
It's also nice to see four first-time ABBL teams in the league this season. Especially tannums tantrums who were knocking on the door for way too long and have finally gotten through...
Interesting that rimmers has such a high salary compared to my own considering last season's play-off result; I think this reflects the differing ways we built our ABBL winning teams. Whitewind preferred to buy players for cheap on the transfer list and was more willing to take a weekly salary hit to do so. I by contrast accepted that I would have to pay over the odds for players if that meant getting a great player relative to the salary they were asking. Both strategies turned out to be just as effective as one another; Whitewind started playing two seasons before me and won the ABBL for the first time two seasons before me.
