I completely agree with you. But 1 per nation would still be better than 2 per nation irrespective of the Nation's size, like the OP is proposing, wouldn't you agree?

If anything make the B3 slots based on overall nation rankings and create a second tier of international competition which is open to the runner ups or winners in their country competition, depending on who's going to the B3. This second tier competition will help determine the world rankings for nations and determine who gets 3 slots in the B3, who gets 2 and so on in the following season.

If they fix Enth, I'd fully expect the bigger nations to do well in both B3 and second tier competition and get the most slots. This system would be more similar to the current champions league...

If it's one per nation, OK but then it's for all the nations.

If it's 2 per nation, then also for all the nations...

Please, do not make something with overall nation rankings because small country will be disadvantaged. I don't want to see the current champions league system as it's unfair for small nations. ("you are living in a 5 active players country? sorry man but you'll never be able to be B3 champion but we got a 2nd tier for you" => that's not very cool)

I'm saying a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3, the current system is already favouring smaller nations, this system would still be favouring smaller nations, just less so.

1/5=20%

Maximum of 3, yeah maybe. But this kind of change (with 2nd tier competition) is a big change for the dev.

Here, I'm asking something simple: if one team won both cup & championship in his country, a 2nd team should be also invited.

After if you want a champions league system, maybe it's an another topic...

Yes and my answer is why should we have 2 teams from 5 users nations and 2 teams from 2000 user nations? How does that make any sense? How is that fair in your mind?

and my answer was "yeah, maybe". Meaning your idea make sense but it's another topic, so maybe open a new one.

My point is my 200 active user nation send only 1 team @ B3 six times in row. That's not fair because during that time smaller user nations send 2 teams...

Look, it's not our fault that Joemaverick kicked everyone's ass in Belgium for 6-7 seasons in a row and won the title 10 times in a row.

If we had a second tier competition, you could prove that those who lost to him in the cup or the finals, actually had great teams and deserved to be in the B3, but were excluded only because they faced one of the top 2-3 teams in the game. Without it, you can also make the argument that he had very little competition and the others did not deserve to be in the BBB

At that time, I think his strongest rival was Basket Mizu Arlon in belgium if I remember well. And Basket Mizu Arlon already reached semi-final of B3 so I think that team have the level of B3, at least for one or two season during the joemaverick domination. So,IMO it was unfair for our country that only one team go in B3.

The second tier competition isn't a bad idea but require a lot of changes for the dev . I don't think we'll see such a big change in short time. My suggestion is easy to implement in short time period.

Either a filter on WR (how does it work?), as proposed by Perpete here (276499.4), or some other mechanism should be implemented. It's deeply unbalanced right now.


A filter on WR would be very unfair for smaller communities' managers because it is based on the teams you beat. I really had a hard time to reach the top 200 because the rank of my domestic league's opponents is pretty weak.
